This February, Coquitlam College celebrated Black History Month with a variety of enriching activities, from screenings of impactful Black history films like
Union Street to lively traditional African dance classes.
Students also had the chance to explore African culture through a selection of delicious snacks and take part in creative activities that highlighted the significance of Black History Month. It was a month full of learning, reflection, and celebration of history and culture.
We hope this recap offers a glimpse into the vibrant, inclusive spirit of Coquitlam College and underscores the importance of honoring Black history and culture both within our school and beyond!
